Member Tips & Tricks: Searching for a job
AAEE Institutional Member University/College level students have access to our Job Board to search for open positions from member school systems. To get started please follow along below. If you would like a general account for your Career Center to help your students in their search, please contact AAEE at email@example.com and we would be happy to set you up with one.
Step 1: Navigate to the Student Portal of the Job Board & Login*
*All new users will need to register to use the site; student eligibility is based on your attendance at an AAEE member post-secondary institution.
Step 2: Registration (if needed)
All fields marked with an * are required
Step 3: Navigate to the Job Search tab on main toolbar, click on “Job Search”
Step 4: All open positions will automatically populate on the search page for the ability to browse. To narrow the search results you may type in any key words or position type and click Search. You can also sort by Job ID, title, etc.
Step 5: Click on any job post to see the full description and to find a link to where you can apply online.
DID YOU KNOW? You can also search for a Job Fair near you by navigating to and clicking on the “Career Events” tab on the main toolbar. All Job Fairs in the system automatically populate for browsing- to narrow results you can search by date or advance search or you can sort by date/time, location, etc.
Check with your Career Services or Education Department to figure out if your school is an AAEE member.
