The American Association for Employment in Education will be accepting applications for the Executive Director position from September 1 through September 30, 2017. The anticipated start date will be January 1, 2018.
The Executive Director provides leadership for the operations and activities of a national, not-for-profit education association comprised primarily of university career services professionals and school system human resources administrators. The Executive Director collaborates with the Board of Directors, Strategic Marketing Manager, and Administrative Assistant in promoting the organization and its membership, developing collaborations, preparing services and resources, and serving as the spokesperson for the organization.
The Executive Director provides strategic direction for day-to-day operations, long-term projects and national initiatives. He/she serves and leads as an ex-officio member of each committee (such as supervising the Strategic Marketing Manager).
