Job Search Handbook for Educators:
This 80+ page handbook is the go-to resource for pre-service educators, recent graduates, and others interested in PK-12 teaching careers. Considered the premier job search resource among colleges of education and university career services offices, the handbook is often distributed to student teachers in class presentations and used as a one-to-one advising tool across the U.S. This annual publication is considered a job search “manual” by many recent education program graduates. Each edition offers school districts and organizations the opportunity to place an ad in this handbook, which will be seen by thousands of potential candidates.
Educator Supply and Demand Report:
Each year, the Center for Marketing and Opinion Research (CMOR) conducts the Educator Supply & Demand Survey on behalf of the American Association for Employment in Education (AAEE). In this nation-wide survey, Both colleges/universities as well as school districts were asked to evaluate demand for educators by rating 59 fields of study as having “CONSIDERABLE SHORTAGE, SOME SHORTAGE, SOME SURPLUS, CONSIDERABLE SURPLUS” of qualified applicants or BALANCED between applicants and positions. This survey displays these results and gives insight into the state of educator supply and demand across the United States.
