  • In this webinar, participants will learn how teacher educators can integrate social emotional learning and culturally responsive pedagogy into educator preparation, with the goal of equipping teachers to consider and respond to the needs of the whole student. We will explore the intersections between SEL and CRP, identify benefits of supporting the development of pre-service and in-service teachers as social emotional and culturally responsive educators, and provide examples for scaffolding learning that demonstrates SEL and CRP in practice.

  • Key Takeaways

  2. Identify benefits of integrating SEL and CRP into educator preparation and ongoing professional development.
  3. Provide examples for scaffolding experiential learning that demonstrates SEL and CRP in practice.
