ABOUT THE INFORMATION SESSION:
When: Thursday, October 1, 2:00-3:00 PM Central
As we face issues related to teaching in a pandemic we realize are working in uncharted territories. Having a support network to call upon as we work to support and retain teachers is as important, if not more so, than it ever has been. In partnership with Upbeat, the American Association for Employment in Education (AAEE) is preparing to establish the second cohort of the National Working Group on Teacher Retention. This group will share best practices and examine research in the field of teacher retention, and will meet for the first time during a pre-conference session on Monday, October 26. Members will discuss issues and identify key areas on which the group will focus throughout the year.
The meeting on October 1 will provide an opportunity for interested individuals to meet members from the first cohort group, learn more about the activities of the group and the benefits of participating, and ask questions.
