Gwinnett County Public Schools is a high achieving, honored school system,
located in the metro Atlanta area. 


GCPS is the largest school system in 
Georgia with more than 180,000 students and continuing to grow.  That growth can be attributed to the fact that Gwinnett is a school system of choice for people moving to the Atlanta area. 


Gwinnett County citizens

Gwinnett County Public Schools is a three-time finalist for 
the Broad Prize of Urban Education (2009, 2010 & 2014) and 2 time winner of the 2010 and 2014 Broad Prize, designating it as one of the nation’s top urban school districts. 


Gwinnett was recently voted an outstanding "Great 
District for Great Teachers," by the National Council on Teacher Quality. GCPS also boasts a 2012 National Blue Ribbon School and a host of schools recognized at the state level.
