Engage, Empower, and Evolve:
Allison Brown-Lands, a Professional Development Specialist with the East Baton Rouge Parish School District, graduated with a B.S. in Business Economics from Southern University and A&M College. In addition to receiving notable honors from the Boeing Corporation, Allison was awarded a lifelong membership in the Business Honor Society, Beta Gamma Sigma. Knowing that education is an essential right and is vital for the economic, social, and cultural development of all societies, she attained her teaching certificate and dedicated her professional career, time, and energy wholly to sharing her knowledge and attention with her students. While serving as an Elementary Instructional Specialist, Allison had the immense responsibility and opportunity to help guide, mentor, and inspire teachers. This experience further strengthened her aspiration to promote professional development and the improvement of educational services. As she completes her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, Mrs. Lands continues to assess, design, and implement initiatives that are aligned with urgent challenges and focused on creating and sustaining the best learning experiences for all students and teachers.
