NEW EDUCATORS SURVEY

Survey for New K-12 Educators

AAEE is currently seeking future educators at the college level to complete our "Job Satisfaction Needs of Entry Level K-12 Educators: Finding the Tipping Points” survey.

The purposes of this study are to identify the job satisfaction needs of entry-career educators and to use data from this study to help reduce teacher shortages in various U.S. geographic regions and areas (i.e., rural, urban, suburban). This study is sponsored by the American Association for Employment in Education (AAEE), a national organization that helps build networks to prepare, recruit, and retain teachers and Youngstown State University (YSU), in Youngstown, Ohio. Permission to conduct the study was obtained from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at YSU.

Educator candidates as well as K-12 educators beginning their careers are asked to please assist us in gathering important information that will inform and influence the future job satisfaction of entry level K-12 educators, with the hope of positively impacting recruitment and retention of future professionals filling critical positions within our society.
