Review applications (primarily asynchronous video responses) through AAEE's interviewstream platform, touching base with committee members monthly, and collaborating with other committee members to determine the recommended candidates to receive scholarships. Final recommendations will be considered by the AAEE Board of Directors.

Brief description of volunteer role:
Collaborate to edit and prepare article submissions for AAEE’s Job Search Handbook for Educators, the premier job-hunting resource for prospective educators.
Assuming at least 10 members, the committee will be divided into three groups where each group would review about 22 pages of existing content (first third, middle third, and last third) and make recommendations for reprinting, refreshing, or removing. This review will be completed by mid-February.
Each committee member would also be asked to review new article submissions. Assuming 30 submissions (our two-year average) and no less than 10 committee members, each person would be asked to review 6 article submissions (to ensure review by at least two committee members). A subset of committee members with the skill and willingness to edit and/or write articles will be asked to do so as needed. This work will be completed by mid-March.

With support from the Directors of Membership and the AAEE National Office, provide structure, direction and support to State Representatives for the purpose of increasing membership, participation, and conference registration from each state in one of AAEE’s ten regions. Serve as a vocal advocate for AAEE.
